Vigilante kills MTN staff, student in Ogun


Men of the Vigilante Service of Ogun State reportedly shot dead Moruf Raji, a student of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and Akeem Usman, a staff of Telecommunications giant, MTN in the early hours of Sunday.
The vigilante men were said to have killed the victims while chasing suspected armed robbers.
Reports say the VSO men ordered residents of 18A Sorinola Avenue, Oni yanrin, to open their gate claiming a suspected armed robber is hiding in the building.
According to witnesses, residents of the house who are mainly students refused to open the gate but Raji, 29, and Usman, 32, decided to open up for the security men to carry out their duty.
As the duo were attempting to open the gate, one of the men of VSO opened fire on them killing them instantly.
The VSO men were said to have forced their way into the house to continue their search after allegedly killing the two men.
